Creativity, empathy and communication for leaders and teams
Roger Robinson works with organisations, leaders and teams on creativity, empathy and communication – helping people think clearly, speak honestly and reconnect with meaning in their work.
This work is not about teaching poetry. It draws on Roger’s long practice as a poet and teacher to offer structured, thoughtful spaces where people can reflect, listen, and communicate with greater clarity and confidence.
Who this is for
These sessions are designed for organisations that:
- value clear thinking and honest communication
- want to strengthen creativity and reflective capacity in their teams
- recognise empathy and attention as core leadership skills
- are looking for a calm, non-performative alternative to standard training
This work is particularly relevant to leadership teams, learning & development programmes, wellbeing initiatives, and organisations navigating complexity, change, or burnout.
What organisations gain
Rather than fixed outcomes, this work focuses on developing core capacities that support healthier, more effective working cultures:
- Clearer thinking and communication – greater precision, confidence and care in how people express ideas and listen to others
- Creative and reflective capacity – space to step out of habitual patterns and see problems, language and relationships differently
- Empathy, attention and human connection – deeper listening, presence and trust within teams

All sessions are conversational, reflective and adaptable to context.
They combine guided writing, discussion and listening, and are shaped to suit the needs of the group.
